Iliam Barkino

Iliam focuses on Deep Tech and is passionate about science and revolutionary technology. He is a curious person who enjoys learning new things, whether it is traditions from other cultures, random French idioms, specific historical events, or how plasmonic nanoparticles can be used to generate electricity. He occasionally finds himself in the wiki rabbit hole, jumping from one interesting article to another. Most of all, Iliam likes to meet people and discuss bold ideas.

Prior to Industrifonden, he worked as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he implemented AI-transformations and conducted commercial due diligences, among other things.

Iliam holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics, with focus on Computational Science, earned through studies at Uppsala University and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He also studied business in parallel with his engineering studies and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics from Uppsala University.
