ZeroPoint is a company based in Gothenburg, Sweden that has invented a new method of more effectively utilising memory chips. The effect is not only doubling the memory capacity, but also lowering Bandwidth usage in communications and radically improving power efficiency. This while working in almost real-time.

Customers can easily integrate ZeroPoints algorithm blocks, Ziptilions, on their own chips (SoC). Their IP-block uses standard on-chip-bus protocols and is placed on the memory access path. Typical customers are server manufacturers, mobile component manufacturers and customers trying to cut down on bandwidth usage. We at Industrifonden see a great potential in this product. It will enable higher bandwidth on the mobile networks and at the same time extending the memory capacity within our mobile phones.

The idea for the product follows many years of research at Chalmers University of Technology by the founders.
