Nayanika Bhalla

Nayanika is an Associate on Industrifonden’s Deep Tech team, focused on turning frontier science and engineering into products with real-world impact. Her core interests span biotechnology platforms and tools, femtech and women’s health, and climate tech, always with a practical lens on commercialisation and access, while staying curious across adjacent deep-tech fields. She gravitates to teams tackling health and climate challenges, where commercial scale and measurable societal outcomes go hand in hand.

Previously, she invested with The Creator Fund’s student team and co-founded a startup focused on financial education for women. Nayanika holds an PhD in Biotechnology and an MSc in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where her work included developing and applying spatial omics technologies.

When not scouting startups, you will find her cooking and baking for friends, sipping tea while planning her next trip, camera in hand exploring new neighbourhoods, or reimagining interiors.
