Industrifonden exits Limina following acquisition by Arcesium
Industrifonden has exited its investment in Limina, a provider of portfolio and order management systems (P/OMS), following its acquisition by Arcesium, a leading global financial technology firm serving asset managers, hedge funds and asset owners.
Founded to address the limitations of legacy investment infrastructure, Limina has built a cloud-native, institutional-grade platform designed to support complex, multi-asset investment workflows at scale. The company has established itself as a trusted technology partner to sophisticated investment organisations operating in data-intensive and highly regulated environments.
The acquisition marks an important milestone in Limina’s journey and positions the company for accelerated product development and international expansion as part of Arcesium’s unified front-to-back platform.
Industrifonden has supported Limina through a four-year growth journey, backing the company as it developed a coherent data architecture and a platform purpose-built for automation, transparency and long-term scalability.
Anna Ljungdahl, Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden, commented: “Limina was built on a clear product thesis: a modern, institutional-grade platform designed for scale rather than legacy constraints. The team has executed with discipline, delivering a technically strong platform that supports complex investment workflows and long-term evolution. This acquisition is a strong validation of that journey and positions Limina well for its next phase of growth.”
Industrifonden continues to invest in technology-driven companies that build long-term value by solving complex challenges within financial infrastructure and data-intensive systems.
