Stockholm-based Evam, a fast-growing Public Safety software company, has raised SEK 38 million in a Series A funding round led by Industrifonden and Fåhraeus Startup & Growth (FSG). The investment will support the company’s continued international expansion and further development of its platform for emergency response organizations worldwide.

In just a few years, Evam has evolved from an early-stage startup into a trusted technology provider within Public Safety. Its products — including in-vehicle incident management systems and mobile tools for frontline personnel — are currently used by more than 100 municipalities and regions across Sweden and the UK. The company’s solutions play a critical role in the emergency response chain for police, ambulance and fire services.

With the new funding, Evam is entering its next phase of growth, focused on expanding its product offering and accelerating its international footprint.

“The need for modern Public Safety technology is enormous — not only in Sweden, but across Europe and globally. We’ve proven that our solutions perform in real operational environments, and with Industrifonden and FSG backing us, we can significantly accelerate both product development and international expansion,” says Mikael Erneberg, CEO and co-founder of Evam.

The global Public Safety market is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by increasing regulatory demands and an urgent need to modernize outdated infrastructure. Many emergency service organizations still rely on fragmented legacy systems with limited interoperability and poor alignment with operational workflows. At the same time, expectations around real-time data sharing, coordination and operational efficiency continue to rise — creating demand for a new generation of software solutions.

“Evam combines a strong team with a proven product in a market with massive global potential. With our experience supporting founder-led companies through scale-up phases, we’re excited to be part of Evam’s continued journey,” says Christer Fåhraeus, Partner at FSG.

“Evam addresses a clear and growing need within critical societal infrastructure. The company combines deep operational understanding with the ability to deliver technology that creates tangible impact in high-stakes environments. We see significant potential in supporting the team as they continue their international growth journey,” says Anna Ljungdahl, Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden.

Evam was founded on a simple conviction: the systems emergency services rely on can — and should — work better.

“This is a global, mission-critical market that is ready for change. We’ve already demonstrated that there’s a fundamentally better way to build these systems — now it’s about scaling that vision internationally,” says Mikael Erneberg.
