Tobias is a Senior Investment Director at Industrifonden, where he leads the tech team and is responsible for the firm's deep tech and planetary health strategy. He works closely with founders building science-based companies, from first investment through board work and growth.

He has more than 25 years of experience as an investor in technology companies, including roles at Volvo Group Venture Capital, Chalmers Ventures and Maersk Growth. He has led deals and helped build companies across Europe, Israel and North America, first in the automotive, industrial and logistics sectors and now in deep tech and climate.

His interest in startups began with a summer in Silicon Valley in 1999, and he has worked with companies on products, strategy and financing ever since. Tobias holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology.

Outside work he loves cooking, skiing and basketball, and serves on the board of his local basketball club. He also spends a lot of time hiking in the forest with the family's Hungarian Vizsla.
