Samira brings extensive experience across venture capital, impact investing, strategy, and technology, with a strong focus on companies driving the transition to a more sustainable and resilient economy. Prior to joining Industrifonden, she spent four years at SEB Greentech VC as Investment Manager, where she led and supported investments from seed to Series B across areas including maritime electrification, energy flexibility, heat pump infrastructure, autonomous robotics, and AI.

Before SEB Greentech VC, Samira was Head of Impact Investments at Swedfund, where she focused on investments delivering both financial and measurable societal impact. She previously worked in KPMG’s Deal Advisory practice, where she led the technology sector, advising companies and investors on strategy and M&A. Alongside her investment career, Samira has worked hands-on with startups as an operator and advisor, giving her a practical understanding of building products, developing businesses, and working closely with founders. She has also served on the boards of Echandia and AirForestry.

Samira holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University and has studied at Universidad Pontificia Comillas. She has also completed studies in ecosystem valuation at Stockholm Resilience Centre and marine biology at the University of Gothenburg.
