
Nayanika is an Associate on Industrifonden’s Deep Tech team, investing in science and engineering-driven companies with the potential to create meaningful real-world impact. Her core interests span biotechnology platforms and tools, women’s health, and climate tech, with a particular interest in how scientific breakthroughs translate into scalable products and businesses.
With a background spanning both research and venture capital, Nayanika is especially drawn to ambitious teams tackling complex challenges in health and climate, where strong commercial potential and societal impact can reinforce one another. Before joining Industrifonden, she invested with The Creator Fund and co-founded a startup focused on financial education for women.
Nayanika holds a PhD in Biotechnology and an MSc in Medical Biotechnology from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Her doctoral research focused on developing and applying spatial omics technologies.
Outside work, you will usually find her cooking and baking for friends, drinking tea while planning her next trip, exploring new neighbourhoods with a camera, or reimagining interiors.
