Industrifonden invests in Now Interact

June 23, 2014

Industrifonden is investing SEK 5 million in Now Interact AB, a software company offering a service that helps online businesses increase their sales. The money will be used for Now Interact’s continued international expansion.

The company is developing comprehensive methodology and software targeted at companies in banking, insurance, telecom and the like, where sales are relatively complex but still done largely online. The solution, which is offered as Software as a Service (SaaS), optimizes the retailer’s electronic and physical sales resources in real time. The software follows visitors on the online store and, by offering information or a personal contact through a chat or telephone conversation, can increase the percentage who make a purchase.

The results to date look positive. With Now Interact’s offering, the number of visitors that actually make a purchase grows by 20-40 percent.

“Now Interact addresses an important problem by converting a website’s visitors to paying customers. In addition, its business model and delivery are simple and attractive,” says Hadar Cars, Investment Manager at Industrifonden.

Founded in 2010, the company lists SEB, Telenor, ComHem and Dustin among its customers. An international expansion has begun through the opening of sales offices in the Netherlands and England, two markets where Now Interact already has a number of paying customers.

“We are very pleased to have added Industrifonden as an owner. In addition to capital, it provides experience and contacts, which will be a major asset in our continued expansion,” says Magnus Åström, Now Interact’s founder and CEO.
